"You greatly rejoice, even though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been distressed by various trials, that the proof of your faith, being more precious than gold which is perishable, even though tested by fire, may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ." 1 Peter 1:6-7

Care Package!

We've learned that we have an opportunity to send a care package to Sehin in February. There is a family from Wisconsin that is going to Ethiopia and they offered to take something for us. We've been told that the items need to fit into a gallon sized ziploc bag. So far, we've gotten some pictures together, a small necklace and some bible quotes translated into Amharic (Ethiopian language). We're stumped as to what other items we should include... how can I fit everything that I want to give Sehin, into a gallon sized bag. Any ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

  1. This is sooooo cool!!! Jewelry, scarf, or thin T-shirt. Maybe some sort of candy that won't melt? WOW! So hard to decide what should make the cut! But what a huge blessing to be able to send her something at all - I know this was on your heart when we had coffee awhile back!
